Against Poaching

Together with NAPHA we engage against poaching and support HUAP  “Hunters United Against Poaching”.

The principal objective of The HUAP Trust is to be charitable and non-profit making. It aims to implement the administration and logistics of vocational and financial support for elite anti poaching educational training courses, and empowering game guards to be fully equipped throughout communities in Namibian communal areas.

We donate an attractive hunt for their fundraising auction.
Here’s the link to Huaptrust.

Namibia Tourism Expo in Windhoek

foto-overall-winner-expo-2017

Dear Wildacker and Namibia Friends!
For the third time we took part at the Namibia Tourism Expo in Windhoek from the 31.05.-01.06.2017 and got to know new people that we will hopefully be welcoming at Wildacker in due time.
The “Overall Winner” prize, which we are very proud of, was given to us by the Committee of Namibia Tourism as a highlight!

overall-winner-az-2017The motto of the expo was ’embracing ecotourism’, which is very important for the nature to benefit from tourism and not be harmed.
Having Solar power at Wildacker is a first step; and we always try to keep our footprint on this paradise as small as possible.
We can only recommend to visit the Expo, it is very interesting, informative and entertaining, not to forget the culinary delights.
We will advice the dates for the next show in advance, so you can maybe plan your holidays accordingly!
